Advanced Personal Development Coaching Explained

Advanced Personal Development Coaching (APDC) Goes Way Beyond Life Coaching

Life coaching works, but may not be the best option available to you. In most life coaching practices, the coach uses a specific set of skills and strategies to advise, counsel and encourage their client to make decisions, overcome problems, set and reach goals, and the improve focus and direction that enables them to live a more meaningful life. Some of the principles involved typically include things like accountability, goal setting, forming new habits, developing new mindsets and improving communication and relationships. While many life coaches do good work and really help people, they don’t always have the flexibility or knowledge to reach their clients at the deepest level and thus miss out on opportunities for helping their clients to progress.

Advanced Personal Development Coaching Utilizes All Available Resources

Advanced Personal Development Coaching combines all the best parts of traditional life coaching such as accountability, goal setting, developing new skills and habits, improving mindset and communication with the best parts of NLP and hypnosis such as working on the deep subconscious patterns of behavior, eliciting an individual’s highest values and aspirations, applying transformational communication, healing and releasing emotional pain, capitalizing on the client’s most valuable resources and actualizing the full strength and power of the human mind and imagination. The end goal is you consistently take inspired actions, breakthrough your previous limitations and get significant results in many areas of your life simultaneously.

And the best part is you thoroughly enjoy the process! You will come out of each session feeling focused and driven because you know exactly what to do, and have the confidence to approach each step with intention.

All Programs Are Customized to Your Unique Situation

With APDC, I do way more for my clients than most life coaches who rely on a single philosophy or approach things with a cookie-cutter methodology. In every session we do together, we examine each goal and challenge from a wide range of perspectives and techniques to determine and implement the most effective approach.

Some life coaches themselves have a limited range of experience dealing with the challenges their client is facing. In addition to a having gone through a diverse set of high-level trainings, I’ve also been through and used these same methods myself (on my own and with the help of others), to overcome a wide range of severe and sometimes gritty adversities (click here to learn more). This allows me to work with those clients facing intense challenges with the insight and skill necessary to create real, tangible results.

Flexible Session Lengths Ensure True Progress is Made Each Time We Meet

One more reason ADPC is superior to life coaching is that I don’t limit my session times to one hour, the way most coaches do. Often getting to the root of your life’s tough issues or uncovering your dreams takes more energy and time than what a normal conversation involves. So I allow my ADPC clients the extra time and space they need to properly express for themselves what’s going on inside. It’s unfair to cut someone off right as they are making real progress. So you’ll never hear me interrupt you with the phrase “our time is up.” All our sessions end when sufficient progress has been made.

A single session may only take up 40-50 minutes on the short end and up to 2 ½ hours on the long end. For this reason, I generally work with no more than 5 clients per day. As such, my availability is limited.
